Local Rules

The Saxons at this moment in time have 6 pistes, each measuring 13 metres by 3 metres approximately

A) The Starting circle must be 1 metre from the edge on the piste.

B) The circle must be 35 to 50 centimetres in diameter.

C) The jack/cochonnet must be thrown to a distance of between 6 and 10 metres.

D) The jack/cochonnet must be a minimum of 50 centimetres away from the strings separating the pistes and 1 metre from the wooden end boundary.

E) The Boule is deemed to be out of play if it touches the wooden surrounds or if the string can be seen totally after the boule has crossed.

F)  At the start of the next end the circle must be drawn where the jack/cochonnet finished, or the circle can be moved back by up to 3 metres in line with where it finished.
